A pen represents the perfect balance between aesthetics and intellect. It is the only tool that can express the depth of a thought while looking as beautiful as a jewel.
Visconti’s story starts in Florence during the 80s. Two friends, both passionate about fountain pens and calligraphy decide to produce handmade writing instruments.

VAN GOGH COLLECTION



Vincent Van Gogh managed to push emotion to its extremes in every one of his brush stroke. Inspired by this artist’s unconventional vision, Visconti created a collection that would soon become iconic.

HIS COLOURS



Van Gogh’s use of colour is an intrinsic part of his art.
To honour the famous Dutch painter, Visconti reproduced the textures of oil painting on his canvases in pen form.

MATERIALS

The refined technique used to produce resin makes it possible to capture the interplay of Van Gogh’s colours. The coloured swirls combine differently on every writing instrument, making each one a unique exemplar with its own personal story.
THE SHAPE

The barrel and cap are made of 18 facets, a shape used for the first time in Visconti designs.
The 18 facets bring even more elegance and luminosity to the intense and deep shades of the Van Gogh pen.

METAL FINISHES AND PACKAGING



All the metal parts of the pen are made in brass and then palladium plated.
The pen’s box comes with a picture of the Van Gogh painting it is dedicated too.
