Ink Color Information

Flagship of Jacques Herbin, Noir Abyssal is an ink of exceptional quality. Its rich, voluptuous black tint adorns itself with a deep colour as it dries, evoking tropical nights. The word Abyssal means: relating to or denoting the depths or bed of the ocean, especially between about 10,000 and 20,000 feet (3,000 and 6,000 m) down.

General Instructions for Use

This ink is for pens, never mix this ink with another. Before filling ink pot or fountain pen, rinse thoroughly. Shake the bottle well before filling the writing instrument for best results. If your pen is inactive for a while, we recommend you might want to empty and clean it.
