J. HERBIN - BOTTLE INK - 50ML
No reviews
The exclusive 1798 ink collection celebrates the year Jacques Herbin first introduced his own line of quality inks, an important step in the history of the brand. Deep unsaturated colors with optimal pressure sensitivity, 1798 Inks are illuminated with shimmering flecks of silver for an elegant finish.
"Amethyste De L'Oural" (Ural Mountain Amethyst) is the first ink in the new Jacques Herbin 1798 Inks Collection. 1798 commemorates a special year in the history of Herbin, and a turning point in the history of France.
"Amethyste" is a deep rich purple in the velvety hue of a rare gemstone. A silver mist provides a lustrous shimmering effect. This ancient gemstone from the gates of Asia was prized for its calming, meditative and lucid dreaming qualities.
Specifications:
Herbin Amethysde de’lOurale is a dark purple shimmer ink with a silver shimmer. The ink takes a while to dry and is partially water resistant. There is no feathering, medium show-through, low shading, low sheen, and a silver shimmer. The shimmer shows up in all nib sizes, but less in finer nibs. Before purchasing shimmer inks, ensure that you know how they work as they are different to regular inks.
