huge disappointment

I was so excited when I bought this ink - but it didn't deliver. I've tried it in several fountain pens, including a calligraphy one with a 1.5mm nib - there is no shimmer. When I write I get just the watery grey ink, no shimmer, or literary one or two particle of shimmer in a word. I can see the shimmer in the bottle, I can see the shimmer in the converters, but I can't see it on paper when I write. I did lots of shaking and mixing, and still no result. Terrible disappointment :( the swatch in the store looked so awesome, but I cannot replicate any of it at home.
